BASH 1999-2000 Game Stats
Paltiel's Stars: Franklin, Pirani, Scooter Good bye, Matt, and thanks for being a part of BASH! The first-place Bruins were looking to put some distance between them and the Seals, but the Roadrunners simply wanted this game more. Matt Franklin, playing his last BASH game before moving out of the country, tallied 3 times, and narrowly missed 2 more. Karim Pirani played well in both zones, assisting 3 times and breaking up numerous Bruin rushes. Bruins' goalie Ian Hocking had a tough game, with little defensive support and a solid knee to the head early in the third period. Despite the knee, Hocking stopped 19 of 21 shots in the third period alone, but the Bruins effort could best be described as too little, too late.
